◆ Alpha CovenantPull a Record

For the CPA firms that perform the Single Audit

For auditors who test suspension and debarment: the dated SAM.gov read for every vendor in the sample, as a workpaper.

Compliance Supplement Part 3 §I asks the same question on every engagement — was SAM.gov checked before the award, and where is the dated record? For the vendors in your sample we print that record: one dated, hashed read per name across SAM.gov Exclusions, the HHS-OIG LEIE, the state Medicaid list, OFAC and the Consolidated Screening List, bundled per engagement with every non-answering source named. Beside it, a client board built from what the Clearinghouse prints about your clients, and the auditor changes printed in your states each week. Nothing we print is an opinion on your work or your client; the receipt is built to sit under your judgment, not replace it.

The rule as written

Compliance Supplement Part 3 §I; 2 CFR 180.300; 2 CFR 200.512; AU-C 500 (audit evidence)

The auditor tests whether the non-Federal entity verified that covered-transaction parties were not suspended or debarred — by checking SAM.gov, obtaining a certification, or adding a clause. The evidence question is the date: what did the file print when the check was made? The receipt answers that for each sampled vendor, and the hash lets a reviewer re-check it later.

What the receipt shows

  • Per sampled vendor: SAM.gov Exclusions rows as printed for the exact name, UEI or EIN — or that SAM did not answer, named
  • HHS-OIG LEIE, state Medicaid exclusion list, OFAC SDN, Consolidated Screening List — printed rows
  • Read time to the second, SHA-256 integrity hash, Ed25519 signature, RFC 3161 timestamp; a one-page workpaper cover per engagement
  • Client board: each client's latest filing, 2 CFR 200.512 due date, SAM registration expiration, prior findings and repeat flags, as the FAC prints them
  • Auditor changes in your states, as the Clearinghouse prints them — who moved from which firm to which, with the filing
  • The receipt is the same one anyone can pull free; the fee buys the bundle, the board and the weekly change list

Duty sheets and form lines

A Duty Sheet puts the dated record beside the rule's own question and builds a fresh receipt for the name you give it (sample: Wellpath LLC): Single Audit S&D duty sheet ↗ · 2 CFR 200.214 duty sheet ↗.

The form lines these receipts are filed behind, with the auditor's test cited: SF-SAC · 2 CFR 180.300 · 2 CFR 200.332. Full forms register · read profiles · published prices.

First engagement free · one per firm

Send one engagement's S&D sample. Receipts and the workpaper cover come back within 48 hours.

Up to 25 names (CSV with a name column; uei, ein, npi optional). One dated, hashed receipt per name, identical to the free one at /screening; a cover page with every receipt, every non-answering source named, and one SHA-256 over the bundle. No invoice, no account, no card. In practice it takes minutes; 48 hours is the promise. When a source does not answer, the row says so; nothing prints "clear" for a file we did not read. Public-record evidence, not a determination — whether the test is met is the auditor's judgment.

Afterwards we ask once whether we may name the firm. "No" is the default and changes nothing; the file is free either way. You get two emails from us — the cover link and the completion note — and nothing else.

Auditor-change weekly list

Each week, the auditor changes the Federal Audit Clearinghouse printed in your states — which organization moved from which firm to which, with the filing. First weekly issue free; then $999 a year on invoice. The row is the Clearinghouse's own print, not a view of either firm.

Nothing is sent until the confirmation link is opened. Every issue carries a stop link. Issues go after 09:00 Eastern and never on a holy day.

What it does not do

  • We do not opine on whether a test was met, whether a finding should be written, or on the quality of any audit. The workpaper records what the files printed and when we read them.
  • Counts of findings and auditor changes are the Clearinghouse's own, as printed; we add nothing to them.
  • A source that did not answer stays "did not answer" on the receipt and on the workpaper. Silence is never "no record".
  • Exact-name and exact-key results do not establish identity; a same-name row is shown, not counted.

Public-record evidence, not legal, compliance or eligibility advice. Hashes, signatures and timestamps prove the integrity of our capture; the agency remains the author of its record. When the agency did not answer · Who pays us.
