Our pledge
- • Free comes first. Public Records, The Unanswered, state pages, Bill Check, and the Guide cost nothing. If a paid feature ever competes with a free one that makes the record more cited, the free one wins. We take no referral fees and sell no personal data.
- • Payment never changes a Record. No company can pay to alter a score, ranking, or what the public sees. Only real improvement showing up in the government's own data does. Who does pay us, what they get, the live scoring↔billing separation check, the runtime billing firewall and our audit status are published on Conflicts & revenue. Marketing and affiliate-commission services are no longer sold under this name (notice).
- • Records are records. A complaint, lawsuit, or payment is not a finding of wrongdoing unless an authority made one. We say what the record shows — nothing more.
- • Every figure is reproducible. Published formulas, official sources, and a correction process. Tell us if something is wrong and we fix it. Read the methodology.
- • Not advice. We are not a law firm, medical provider, tax preparer, financial adviser, or government agency.
