Verification Integrity Standard

A verification platform is only worth trusting if no one can pay to change what it says. These eight clauses codify that, and each one points at public evidence rather than a promise. Any platform may adopt the standard and self-attest; the seal is a claim checkable at the evidence URLs, not a certification.

  1. VIS-1 · Never for sale

No party may pay to add, remove, soften or reorder a fact on a receipt. Corrections are free, public and hash-logged.

  2. VIS-2 · Facts, not verdicts

Receipts print what official sources printed, with date, source and hash. They carry no score, risk label, clearance or inferred relationship.

  3. VIS-3 · Not read is said

A source that did not answer is named as not read. Absence of a row is never presented as absence of a record when the source was not read.

  4. VIS-4 · Keyed linkage only

Identifiers are linked only where one official row prints both. Nothing is joined by name similarity, address, ownership or co-occurrence.

  5. VIS-5 · Published misses

Sources that cannot be read, and why, are published. Missed or stale reads are logged where the public can see them.

  6. VIS-6 · Hash-chained archive

Daily archives are hash-chained and anchored with OpenTimestamps; any receipt can be re-verified from its SHA-256.

  7. VIS-7 · Custody stated

Rescued, mirrored or third-party-hosted copies of official data state their custody chain and point to the originating publisher's current record.

  8. VIS-8 · Reproducible

Every receipt names its method version; a reader can repeat every check at the publisher's own lookup.

Adopt it

Any platform may adopt the standard by publishing a self-attestation at /.well-known/verification-integrity.json listing the clauses it meets with evidence URLs, and may display the seal for the clauses it meets. The seal is a claim by the displayer, checkable at the evidence URLs; it is not a certification by Alpha Covenant.

Publish /.well-known/verification-integrity.json on your domain (schema: https://alphacovenantholdings.com/api/standard/vis/v1/self-attestation.schema.json), run https://alphacovenantholdings.com/api/standard/vis/v1/check?domain=yourdomain, then ask on https://alphacovenantholdings.com/pilot; a person lists the domain after the check passes. Listing repeats what your attestation says; it certifies nothing.
