{"what_this_is":"Visits to this site, counted by us, cookieless and aggregate-only: page views by path, referrer hosts, and an approximate daily unique count. Our own and automated traffic is counted separately as excluded.","method":"Each page load posts its path and referrer. We store per-day totals only. 'uniques_approx' counts distinct sha256(daily salt + address + browser string) seen that day; the salt rotates daily and the hashes are deleted after two days, so no visitor can be followed across days. No cookies, no IP, no user-agent, no third-party script. Known crawlers and our own sessions are counted as excluded, not as visitors; for crawlers we keep only a per-day tally by family name (googlebot, bingbot, gptbot …), never the full agent string, address or path.","what_this_is_not":"Not a measure of people reached, interest or intent; a crawler we did not recognise is counted as a view.
